Description
Filter media used in the pressure sand filter is crushed quartz stone, which is white in color and is free from iron contents. Mesh size of the filter media ranges between 5-10 for the lower layer of the filter and 16-24 for the upper layers. The mesh size of the filter media is capable of filtering water to the extent of 5NTU.
